Gallery Pieces

Every piece is conceived as a functional sculpture, where the tension between materials, balance and the offsetting of the axis define its character.

TAKSZU makes objects to commission, developed in direct dialogue with each client. We study the space the piece will live in — its architecture, proportions and atmosphere — along with the particulars of daily life, from the presence of children or pets to the way the client wishes to interact with the piece.

Water, light, plants and orchids can all form part of the composition. Each element is treated as an opportunity to develop a singular relationship between sculpture, space and living matter.

The result is a singular piece, designed specifically for its setting and for the person who will live alongside it.

Commissioned pieces are developed through direct contact with the artists.
